Smithwick’s Irish Ale is collaborating with two of Ireland’s most sought-after music acts, BARQ and Le Galaxie, for a special series of gigs which sees the bands perform their contemporary take on two of the most memorable soundtracks of all time: Pulp Fiction and Apocalypse Now.
The music behind a movie can be the difference between a great movie and a cult classic – with the soundtrack living on long after the credits have rolled! Without a doubt, the soundtrack from Apocalypse Now continues to echo long after the movie’s famous opening sequence just as Pulp Fiction’s mixtape lives beyond that iconic dance scene.
The series kicked off in Whelan’s on the 13th of October and was rolled out in some of Ireland’s favourite music venues across Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Limerick and Sligo throughout October and November.
Back by popular demand, Smithwick’s Soundtrack Series is making its 2018 return as Le Galaxie takes to the stage at Billy Byrnes, Kilkenny!
